Home to the Society of the King of Portugal and Portuguese Nobility
Welcome to the preservation society of the Royal House of Portugal. Our goal is the preservation of the nobility of Portugal and its history. We promote, preserve and advance the importance of noble society and its importance in modern times. While the nobility and King of Portugal has been abolished the government of Portugal legally protects the holders of noble titles and society as a whole recognizes the succession of legitimate heirs and recognized holders. The goal is to answer the question of who is the king of Portugal.
The current recognized head of the noble throne of Portugal is H.R.H Dom Rosario of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha Braganza, 22nd Duke
of Braganza" and King of Portugal. While disputes have arisen the evidence as to his ascendency to throne is irrefutable. Maria Pia, the bastard daughter of King Carlos, was formally acknowledged and granted honors. In addition, H.R.H was named the legitimate successor,as King of Portugal, to the throne, should the monarchy be re-established. After much review of church and official documents, this is the conclusion of the council.
The function of the society of the Society of the Royal House of Portugal is to promote and preserve the history of the nobility and monarchy of Portugal. In this we accept the rule of His Royal Highness, The King of Portugal, Dom Rosario.
